The World’s Worst Children is David Walliams’ new best-seller. It consists of ten stories (five girls and five boys) who are the world’s worst children such as Peter Picker and Sofia Sofa. This book has had a lot of mixed reviews but I really enjoyed it as it was different from Walliams’ usual style of writing but what didn’t change was the quality and the humour.
My favourite character in the book was Pertula Perpetual-Motion, a girl that could not refrain herself from moving at all times- and all hell breaks lose when her boarding school goes on a trip to a porcelain museum!
I would definitely recommend this book as, always, it was so funny and well written and I really liked the fact it was split into ten different short stories. I think the concepts that Walliams’ puts into his stories are really original and hilarious.
